The challenge

Atlas's marketing site was a slow, Wordpress-era build with a 4-second LCP and a Lighthouse score in the 30s. Organic was their biggest acquisition channel and it was leaking conversions to performance.

Our approach

  • Migrated to a Next.js + edge-rendered architecture so the first byte left the CDN, not a database query in another region.
  • Built a tight component system in Tailwind that the marketing team could actually use without engineering.
  • Sanity for content so non-technical staff could ship pages without a deploy.
  • Full technical SEO pass: schema, sitemaps, internal linking, image weight, and CWV-targeted layout work.

The outcome

Organic conversion up 42%. LCP dropped from 4s to 1.1s. Lighthouse landed at 100/100/100/100 and has stayed there. The marketing team now ships a new landing page in hours instead of weeks.
